Application Procedure for Individual Members

Applicant submits the following:

  • Letter of nomination from an active UCAE member is recommended
  • Completed Individual Member Application
  • Completed UCAE Resume Form
  • Check for membership dues (one year: $60; $20 of which goes to UCAE Fund)
  • The packet containing the above materials should be mailed to:

      UCAE c/o School of Visual Arts
      MAT Art Education Department
      209 East 23rd Street
      New York, NY 10010

    When the application has been reviewed and voted on by the UCAE Board of Governors, the applicant is notified. New members are welcomed at the annual Members’ Reception.

    Application Procedure for Institutional Members

    Institutional Members are entitled to one representative member who is a UCAE member. A proposed institutional representative who is not a UCAE members must apply and be accepted for membership before serving as an institutional representative.

    An institution submits the following:

  • Letter of request for UCAE membership
  • Completed Institutional Member Application
  • Name of proposed institutional representative
  • The packet containing the above materials should be mailed to:

      MAT Art Education Department

      New York, NY 10010

    When the application has been reviewed and voted on by the UCAE Board of Governors, the applicant is notified. An invoice for $100, the annual Institutional Membership dues, will be sent to the institution. New members are welcomed at the annual Members’ Reception.
